Westin Nguyen is a Canadian cinematographer based in the Toronto area. Starting out in broadcast news as a camera operator for Bell Media, he has built a keen eye of visually storytelling utilising lenses and lighting. He emphasizes the importance of shaping natural light and artificial light to enhance the narrative.

Moving into the commercial and narrative production world, Westin advocates efficiency as well as quality. His technical expertise on top of his creativity allows more time for the director to get the best on screen performances and save money for the production and/or the client.

Some notable brands Westin have worked with are Staples, Ornge, CAMH, Hubspot, Vexos, Toyota, Sheetz, Monte Carlo Inns and many more. He has travelled all across Canada and the United States for various shoots.

He is an affiliate member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers.
